Yoga has been a part of my life for over 8 years.  A few years into my practice, I attended a pranayama class taught by Adam Braun and everything changed.  The connection to my breath helped me connect with my soul on a completely new level, and from then on, I voraciously sought to learn anything and everything I could about this amazing practice. These teachings have not only allowed me to grow stronger and more flexible on the mat, but they have also inspired me to live each moment more mindfully, one breath at a time, off the mat.

I completed my 200- hour Hatha Yoga training at CLC- Grayslake with Terry Crews and am currently training with Shanna Stein of Sacred North Yoga YTT towards completing a 400-hour advanced training. Yoga is forever evolving, providing limitless opportunities to learn and improve. I will always be a student of the practice and am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers and fellow yogis have shared with me.

During my training, I was introduced to yoga’s sister science, Ayurveda, which is an approach to holistic medicine based on nutrition for your mind and body type.  The combination of yoga and Ayurveda together is a miraculous approach to leading a healthier lifestyle.  As such, I am currently in the process of furthering my studies in this regard.  My goal is to to bring a holistic approach to my teaching, in order to provide a well-rounded class that will help the student achieve wholeness beyond the physical.

In my classes, I love to combine creative sequencing, an essence of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help students deepen their practice. I seek to help others thrive in life by nurturing body, mind and soul through the practice of yoga. My hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.
